A morning or afternoon arrangement
You will board the beautiful 27 meter long passenger ship “Koningin Emma”, which is powered by a 600 hp engine, capable of reaching an average speed of 11 knots. The boat is fully equipped for entertaining parties and can accommodate 80 people. From the boat you have a beautiful view over the water.
In the cosy cabin you will find a cold buffet, consisting of various kinds of fish, various kinds of meat, fresh salads, French and Dutch cheeses, freshly baked baguettes with tapenade, butter and herb butter. Various fruits and bavarois form a delightful desert. (*)
While you enjoy your treats and drinks, the captain will tell you about the fishing boats and their catches, the fish auction, the piers and the traffic lights that IJmuiden provides for the safe passage of the giant cruise ships setting course for Amsterdam.
At the far end of the sea inlet that protrudes about 3 km into the sea, we end up in the North Sea, continuing our tour towards the coastal village of Zandvoort. On the sun deck you can enjoy the impressive skyline of the North Sea coast and the seascape that surrounds you. Another option is to pass the largest lock complex in the world, to get acquainted with the tidal difference on the other side of the locks.
We sail up the Noordzeekanaal (North Sea Canal) towards Amsterdam. If you like, we can sail around the Fort Island towards the North Sea on the way back.

The package “Zeebenen” (Sea legs) has a duration of 3.5 hours, of which about 3 hours will be sailed. This package is perfect for a morning or afternoon trip, combined with a lunch or soup, or coffee/tea and cake. The package price for the boat including crew is €1315,- incl. VAT.
